The Ravensworth Ladies Bowling Club Charity Day, was an event where ladies from all over the North East
competed and this years winners were from South Shields.

Margaret Small is the club secretary and kept on eye on all the proceedings, keeping time and score cards.

A delicious array of food and refreshments were available all day made by the Ravensworth Ladies and with a tombola stall,
books for sale and a raffle they donated £400 to the branch. Arthritis Care also had a stall with information and diaries
and pens for sale and raised another £60.

It was a glorious day, and this lovely club is nestled behind the Angel of the North.
