Floral Tribute to 60 years of Arthritis Care by Gateshead Council.
(Please forgive the artistic shot.)
First attempt from on top of the roundabout.
Thick bushes (No not George Bush.) make it difficult to get a good shot.
Next is from the roadside, dodging the cars zinging past, but its too low.

So if the roadside is two low; how will it look from the upper deck of a 21 double-decker bus?
The answer is not much better!!!
(Please forgive the artistic shot.)

So if the bus is two low; how will look from - - -
Having convinced a friend to transport a set of steps, (I'm sure he thinks I'm bonkers, I do.) borrowed
from Wesley Methodist Memorial Church to the roundabout in question, we set them up to see over those
thick bushes (No not . . . Oh done that one.) clinging precariously to the top of a ladder, risking life and limb...
or just a few steps up depending on whom you ask.
The answer is ... still not much better!!!
The poor quality is due to holding the camera at arms length and hoping for the best.

So the next plan . . . .
Plan D: Find someone with portable scaffolding to erect to see over the bushes.

Plan E: Find somebody with a 'Cherry Picker' or a 'Magic Carpet' to see ....

Plan F: I know of someone with an airplane.

Plan G: Do you know someone with a helecopter?

Catch the next episode here .........

OUR THANKS GO TO:
Jim Hart for providing the transport and holding the ladder.
